Key Control Policy

arrow Previous bar Next arrow

In order to promote the security and safety of all district students and employees, along with protecting the district's real and personal property from theft, vandalism and/or the misuse of facilities, the Governing Board recognizes the importance of establishing and maintaining a building access (key control) policy.

The Superintendent or designee shall establish procedures for a proprietary key control system. Such procedures shall provide guidelines for distribution, custody and responsibility for keys, along with provisions for the replacement cost of keys and/or re-keying facilities in the event keys are lost.
