Recruitment
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent Instruction, the following steps shall be included in the effort to recruit the best qualified teachers:
1. Maintenance of a current file of applicants who have made contact with the adult education office.
2. Consultation with high school Principals regarding the use of regular day school teachers in the adult program.
3. Consultation with Administrators of Adult Education programs in other districts.
Selection
In general, the selection of applicants shall be made by the adult education principals, and the evening high school coordinators after evaluating the information on the application blank and interviewing the candidates.
Employment
All recommendations for employment shall be made by the adult education principals to the Assistant Superintendent-Human Resources Division who will then make recommendations to the Superintendent for action by the Governing Board.
