The Governing Board desires to use the results of the achievement tests to evaluate the performance of district students against the state's academic standards, the performance of students in other districts across the state, and national norms.

To ensure maximum student participation, the superintendent or designee shall notify students and parents/guardians of the importance of these achievement tests.
