Relations Between Private Industry And The Schools

The Superintendent or designee is encouraged to promote partnerships between the schools and private industry. Activities appropriate to these partnerships include career education, incentive and recognition programs, classroom assistance and tutoring, technical education, computer education, staff development, and donation of funds.

The Board of Trustees directs the Superintendent or designee to promote programs whereby district students may take classes and/or enroll in work experience and on-the-job training programs sponsored by local business and industry at their job sites.
