(a) Except as otherwise specified in this chapter, an election held for purposes of this chapter shall be conducted as provided in Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 5300) of Part 4.
(b) If an election is held for purposes of this chapter in a school facilities improvement district, no other election may be held for purposes of this chapter in that district for a period of 90 days after that election.
