Elementary School Promotion Requirements/Standards Of Proficiency

Eighth grade students who have completed the district's prescribed course of study shall be eligible for promotion.

The Board of Education shall adopt standards of proficiency in reading comprehension, writing, computational skills, and other areas the board deems appropriate. These standards shall be developed with the active involvement of teachers, administrators, counselors, and parents/ guardians, as required by law.
