Students Expelled From Other Districts

In order to prohibit the enrollment of a potentially dangerous student, the Governing Board shall hold a hearing before admitting any new resident student expelled from another district for those acts for which the law requires a hearing prior to such admission. (Education Code 48915.1)

Students expelled from other districts for reasons other than those acts requiring a hearing may be enrolled if they meet district admission requirements.
