The board of supervisors shall designate a drug program administrator and shall determine the administrative level, responsibility, and authority of such a position. The position of the drug program administrator may be either full- or part-time, or part of other assigned duties. The drug program administrator shall be a qualified professional who has the ability, training, or experience to administer or coordinate and monitor the county drug program.
