Classified employees shall be subject to layoff for lack of work or lack of funds. The Superintendent or his/her designee shall prepare procedures governing the reduction of work force by means of layoff. Seniority lists of classified employees shall be prepared and maintained on a continuing basis.
The Superintendent shall recommend those positions that are to be reduced or eliminated based on the needs of the district.
