High-Risk Youth Education and Public Safety Program. Chapter 3. Transitioning High-Risk Youth Program. Article 1. Eligible Participants
An eligible participant shall be a transitioning high-risk youth. For purposes of this chapter, "transitioning high-risk youth" means a juvenile who is committed to a county probation camp, ranch, or hall for not less than a combined total of six months, and who subsequently enrolls in a public school that he or she attends on a full-time basis. Eligible youths shall be assessed as having a high risk of reoffending based upon a validated risk and needs assessment tool.
