California Fair Elections Act Of 2008; Fair Elections Benefits

(a) An eligible qualified or performance-qualified candidate running in a primary election shall receive the candidate's Fair Elections funding for the primary election campaign period on the date on which the county registrar of voters certifies the candidate as a participating candidate or at the beginning of the primary election period, whichever is later.

(b) An eligible qualified or performance-qualified candidate shall receive the candidate's Fair Elections funding for the general election campaign period within two business days after certification of the primary election results.
