California Fair Elections Act Of 2008; Legal Defense, Restrictions on Candidates

Participating candidates may accept monetary or in-kind contributions from political parties provided that the aggregate amount of such contributions from all political party committees combined does not exceed the equivalent of 5 percent of the original Fair Elections financing allotment for that office for that election. Such expenditures shall not count against the moneys spent by Fair Elections candidates.
