Closed Campus

The Governing Board, as authorized by Education Code Section 44808.5, has established a "closed campus" at the high schools of the district to enhance educational opportunities and in the interest of student safety and supervision. Once students arrive on the school grounds they must remain on campus until the end of their last regularly scheduled class unless they have received permission from school authorities to leave for a specific purpose. Students who leave campus without proper authorization of school authorities shall be subject to disciplinary action.
