Foggy Weather Conditions
Procedure when maintaining 180 days of school or more:
1. On a delayed opening of school all employees (both classified and certificated) shall report on the regular schedule. If after the two-hour delay school is to be closed, all personnel shall remain on duty for the remainder of the day.
2. When schools are closed because of foggy weather conditions with no delayed opening, all employees (both classified and certificated) shall report on the regular schedule.
Procedure when closure due to foggy weather conditions drops number of days below 180:
1. On a delayed opening of school, all employees (both classified and certificated) shall report on the regular schedule. If after the two-hour delay school is to be closed, all teaching personnel, aides and cafeteria personnel are to be released and reassigned to a makeup day.
2. When school is closed due to foggy weather conditions and the day is to be made up, teaching personnel, aides and cafeteria personnel stay off duty that day and are reassigned to a makeup day.
