Student Study Teams

arrow Previous bar Next arrow

The Board of Trustees, in order to address the needs of students having substantial academic, attendance, or behavioral difficulties, authorizes schools to establish student study teams. Student Study Team membership may include the student, parent/guardian, classroom teacher, resource personnel, and administrators. The Board encourages the cooperation of the team members to identify strategies and programs to address the student's individual needs. The Board expects that the student study team will improve communications within the school, support teachers in working with the student, and resolve or alleviate the student difficulties at school.
