Alternative Interdistrict Attendance Program
WHEREAS: The Governing Board of the _________________ School District recognizes that students who reside in other school districts may wish to attend school in this district;
AND WHEREAS: California Education Code 48209-48209.16 establishes an alternative interdistrict attendance program under which the Board may accept such students through a random, unbiased process;
AND WHEREAS; The Board has determined that district schools have space for additional students;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board hereby has determined to accept students from other districts in accordance with the alternative interdistrict attendance program. The number of students to be accepted shall be identified by resolution each year.
