Vexatious Complainant

arrow Previous bar Next arrow

The Governing Board acknowledges and takes its responsibilities seriously to inquire into complaints filed by the public, students and/or employees. The Board has developed policies and procedures whereby the public, students and employees can submit complaints and have those complaints resolved expeditiously. The purpose of this policy is to create a process to handle factually repetitive complaints, brought by the same person, with the intent to unduly burden and harass the District. The policy will provide the Board, the Superintendent or designee with discretion to identify a complainant who by the nature and frequency of his or her complaints to the District, unnecessarily drains the District's administrative resources, hindering the District's consideration of other people's complaints. The District has established a procedure whereby such persons will be treated equitably and fairly.
