The Governing Board authorize students, with the written consent of their parents/guardians, to receive moral or religious instruction at a suitable place away from the school, designated by the religious group. This shall be in addition to the moral and ethical values taught in the classroom.
Students shall be excused from school for such purposes no more than one hour per week and in each case the student so excused shall attend school at least the legal minimum school day.
The Superintendent is instructed to establish regulations governing the attendance of students at such instruction and the reporting thereof.
