County board of education succeeds county committee on school district organization
Upon the order of the State Board of Education issued pursuant to Section 4020, the county board of education of a county succeeds to and is vested with all duties, powers, purposes, responsibilities, and jurisdiction formerly vested in the county committee on school district organization of that county.
